I'm a Third Culture Kid, educator, and life coach.
My passion is to help you discover the tools that will help you to build a strong life amidst transition.
If you've participated in my events, you know I always start with the Skittles® ice breaker.
Here are my answers:
Red: a hobby I enjoy is growing things--especially plants and Golden Retriever puppies
Orange: my favorite memory is climbing the Rainbow Mountains in Peru
Yellow: something I want to try is surfing
Purple: my least favorite food is tuna
Green: something I couldn't live without is music
I'm a Third Culture Kid
A Third Culture Kid (TCK) is someone who has spent a significant number of their developmental years outside of their parents' culture.
I was 9 when my family first went to Albania. We returned to the US when I was 17.
The experience of growing up outside of my passport country has given me the passion to work with others who are experiencing a similar upbringing.
During college, I traveled often to resource the children's programming at international conferences. My summer breaks were filled with orientation, furlough, and re-entry trainings.
I graduated from Millersville University with a bachelor's in Educational Foundations and received my Primary Montessori Teaching certificate. I also became a certified life coach.
Because I traveled too much to maintain a teaching position in a classroom, I paired tutoring and substitute teaching with my work with families in transition.
I have resourced over 300 TCKs at more than 70 retreats and conferences in over 20 countries.
In 2020, I started G.I.F.T. LLC to continue providing my services at an interagency capacity. I am also pursuing my MA in Clinical Counseling.
I'm excited to connect with you.
